Lee’s Summit | Bury Sump Pump Lines
PROBLEM: The sump pump discharged water right next to the foundation. This caused puddles in the yard and potential damage to the foundation walls.
SOLUTION: The Lee’s Summit homeowner opted to hire us to bury a 4″ solid, dual wall, pipe under the ground and terminate the pipe into a 9″ square bubble box. This line transferred the water away from the home to a location with good slope.
When we were done with the project, we tamped the sod back in place and you can hardly tell that we dug a trench.
You may also notice that we installed a freeze guard where the sump pipe exits at the house, at the siding. This is a place for the water to exit in the event that the line becomes frozen or clogged.
