Home Drain Tile Systems
Whether installed on the exterior or interior of a home’s perimeter – the intention of both drain tile systems are the same – collect and direct water away from a home’s foundation. A well functioning drain tile system is a home’s first line of defense against a damp, leaky basement.
In the Kansas City area, new homes are required by building code to have a drain tile system installed. Older homes (80’s & earlier) may have no or inadequate drain tile systems to maintain the health of a home’s foundation.
Failing drain tile systems may often times lead to: leaky basements – or worse, flooded basements and foundation shifts.
